Ryan Storer’s Ear Cuffs

When I spotted these, I fell in love with the rose gold tones and abundant Swarovski crystals, just as any other girl would. Ryan Storer’s collection speaks for itself, bringing feminine edge and excitement to the world of ear accessories.

The Bralet

This is yet another trend that I’ve fallen in love with because if you succeed in styling this item properly, you’re sure to make an impression! The silk Alexander Wang bralet is more than worth the investment. Despite it’s simplistic and versatile nature, it still remains the centre piece. It’s be spotted on the likes of Cassie, Rihanna, and Nicole Ritchie in recent months.

With spring coming soon, you could try Wang’s blush tone bralet as an alternative or experiment with brighter tones and bold prints!

Givenchy Rose Floral Print

Givenchy always comes out with the most bold and eye-catching prints, and this one is no different. I’ve developed an unhealthy obsession with this newest print (as have MANY other people). In December I managed to get my hands on a Givenchy envelope clutch in this rose floral print and it is now without doubt one of my most prized possessions!

Winter Boots: Stylish Meets Practical

Now that I spent most of my time in Chicago, I’ve fully realized the importance of a good pair of winter boots! The inches of snow, ice, and Arctic-esque winds this year have truly been an experience. Having experimented with different boots over the years, from Uggs to Timbalands to Dav’s, these are just some of my favorite picks.

Jimmy Choo’s rabbit-lined suede biker boots not only look good but also provide a suitably warm lining and rubber sole for the treacherous winter months! Although suede can be a tough fabric to maneuver in the winter, it is well worth investing in a suede cleaning kit for these.

However, Timbalands are always a cheaper and equally edgy alternative. The all-black classic 6” design adds interest to any outfit and the customized all-leather pair is definitely a favorite of mine.

Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue

Vanity Fair recently previewed the cover of their Annual Hollywood issue, which includes stars such as Julia Roberts, George Clooney and Lupita Nyong’o.  All the actors have been successful during award season so far, so there is no surprise regarding the faces on this feature. Still, the 20th issue has caught many people’s eye due to the record number of black people on the mag. For one, I think its a great mag cover (I mean it has got Jared Leto on it), but I also think it is a good celebration of what is changing in the film industry. However, reading some articles who claim it’s a ‘great leap forward’, I still think to myself, “But there are no Asians or Hispanic featured.” Maybe next year Vanity Fair will surprise the world once again, but for now I shall drool over Leto and Elba, and so envious of all the women…

Here’s a ‘behind the scenes' clip, just to keep you entertained for longer.

Katy Perry's "Dark Horse"

While Katy Perry may not have won a grammy this year, she undoubtedly gave the most entertaining and creative performance of the evening. It got me thinking about bizarre musical collaborations which just somehow seem to work, like her previous collaboration with Kanye on “E.T.”

I’ve come to realize that the best forms of art, including fashion, often combine unexpected factors and mold them into something spectacular. I’m hoping that 2014 will bring even more new and exciting collaborations.

Moschino's Pre Fall Collection

In their Pre Fall 2014 collection, Moschino have definitely brought to light an interesting concept. When I spotted the images first on Instagram, I thought it was just a joke. However, after looking into it further it seems Moschino’s new creative director, the weird and wonderful Jeremy Scott, really did transform the look of the handbag.

He takes inspiration from iconic looks such as the Chanel quilted jacket and turns it into questionable arm gear. To be honest, I’m not yet sure what I think. If I saw someone carrying this down the street I would definitely have to do a double take. But at the end of the day that is the point I guess…
